Southern hospitality abounds upon your arrival at the Maxwell Bed & Breakfast at the Historic Merritt House. You are greeted by your Hosts, Twyla and Roger, who make you feel right at home and part of their family. Afternoon and evening refreshments are always available, either in the dining room or when weather permits, on the wraparound porch.
The house consists of 12 large rooms, with 10 and 11 foot ceilings, and all have beautiful oak and pine woodwork. All of the rooms are decorated with antiques from local shops, family pieces and family memorabilia.
