Described as "Hearts Delight" by English explorers in 1680, the Scuppernong River flows right by The River House, hence it's name. Come relax on our wide porch and watch the sails go past. Visitors to our area enjoy an array of outdoor activities such as canoeing, biking, nature walks along the river boardwalk (located just 50 yards from the house), bird watching and fishing.
