Welcome to WCTI-TV12 The News Leader in Eastern North Carolina. TV12 started broadcasting in 1963 from a 1,000 foot tower in New Bern and has since increased its viewing audience by the addition of a 2,000-ft. tower just outside of Trenton. The tower equipment is capable of broadcasting New Bern Tower316,000 watts of video and 31,600 watts of audio from its Harris TV50H transmitting equipment.
