A museum has been established in Smithfield, North Carolina for an extensive collection of artifacts spanning Ava Gardner's career in movies and her private life.
The man behind it all was Thomas M. Banks of Pompano Beach, Florida, a former publicist for Columbia Pictures, who collected Ava memorabilia for over 50 years.
