The Jackson County Chamber of Commerce is committed to improving the quality of life and welfare of the citizens of Jackson County by achieving a prosperous and diverse business community which compliments the region's natural beauty.
The Jackson County Chamber of Commerce, 400 members strong in March 2000, is based at 116 Central Street in Sylva, just off Main Street. The Chamber offices also serve as a visitor's center, and as the headquarters of the Jackson County Travel and Tourism Authority.
